Aka: Kaeya gets sent to the Fortress of Meropide. Wriothesley is confused as to why his fellow informant in the Northern Intelligence Network is so worried about the Calvary Captain. Diluc is not coping well with the fact that Kaeya is in the Fortress, even though he doesn't care about him at all. (He does.)Oh, and Kaeya gets to solve a murder.

Summary
HotGuy, real name Scar Guudtimes, lived in a decent sized apartment not far from a popular park, the file also noted that he had two roommates, but not their names. That was normal for files, confidentiality of the others in a hero’s life. He set it to the side, opening CuteGuy’s file next. CuteGuy’s real name was Grian Emmsea, and lived at the same address as Scar. Xisuma was convinced he had misread this, doing a double and triple take to make sure he was reading things correctly.

Summary
Zedaph was tired. His feet hurt as he trudged into the city, the lifeless corpse of something grander. Grian yawned and shivered, the once warm summer days long gone, replaced with either a permanent frost or large expanses of desert, so it was either too hot or too cold wherever they went. Zedaph paused for a second, as he looked up into the sky at a particularly tall building.
A temple.
“Zedaph? What’s up?” Grian asked, pausing beside Zedaph.
“It's a temple. And usually those were pretty protected right? Think we’ll find supplies in there?”
Grian thought for a minute, “I hope!” He said, before running in, not waiting for a reply. Zedaph chased after him, smiling a bit. As Grian was running he tripped over something sticking out from a hole in the floor, landing face first on the ground, “ow.”

Wriothesley has worn the Duke’s mantle for barely a year, long enough for the shine to fade. Each passing day leaves him more disillusioned with the system he’s sworn to uphold. When whispers of an organized trafficking ring slip under the Garde’s notice, the case strikes too close to memories of his own past for him to ignore.
Far above Meropide, Arlecchino is still shaping what it means to lead the House of the Hearth. Her justice has never been the court’s justice, and the law has never been her leash. Someone else has.
Their paths cross in the shadows. Though a Duke of Meropide working with a Harbinger sounds outlandish, it hasn’t stopped their predecessors. With the Iudex bound by procedure and the Knave bound by her own loyalties, Wriothesley must decide whose vision of justice he’ll follow… but the one outside the law seems far more capable of getting results.

“Freeing.” Mumbo replies automatically. “Amazing. Wonderful.”
Grian looks away. “I know you’re trying to get me back into it. Mumbo, I- I can’t. I just wanted to know-”
“If you want to know, perhaps you should get on yourself.” Mumbo says, uncharacteristically confrontational. “You know that Corpse and Sykkuno are more than willing to get you to start up again.”
“It’s been years.” Grian says quietly.
“It’s been years.” Mumbo agrees. “But figure skating is your passion.”
“Until it’s not.” Grian mumbles.
OR: In which Grian is a talented figure skater who has given up his craft, Mumbo tries to help him get back into it, and the idots crash the party. Oh, and the crew is all here too.
