“Wouldn’t you feel safer if you faced me?” Yeonjun murmured.
Beomgyu swallowed thickly. “W-Why?” he squeaked.
“Because then I won’t have unlimited access to your neck,” Yeonjun said, gently tracing a cold finger down the back of Beomgyu’s neck.
Beomgyu tensed up. He felt like his heart was in his throat.
Yeonjun let out a breathy laugh. “I’m teasing, love.”
Love. God, why did Beomgyu like that so much?
“But I do want to see your lovely face,” Yeonjun said.
Beomgyu shrank down. “I-It’s not funny, y-you know…”
“I’m sorry,” Yeonjun said softly. “But you know you’re always safe with me, right? I would never dream of hurting you.”
Beomgyu slowly rolled over to face him. “B-But you hurt others, don’t you?”

Summary
Everything drops to a standstill when the door swings open, a smiling Yeonjun in front of him, "Let's eat." When his boyfriend sees him he balks, freezing in place, eyes roaming over his frame and settling at his crotch, and Beomgyu can't get his hand out fast enough. His waistband snaps loudly in the silence, and Beomgyu makes hurried movements to walk out, passing Yeonjun in a whiff, rushing to the kitchen before his boyfriend can ask.
"What the hell," Yeonjun mumbles, hurrying after him. "Were you about to—," Beomgyu winces and cuts him off. "It's not what it looks like."
He settles into his seat at the dining table, hurriedly pulling his chair in, but it's not fast enough because Yeonjun is staring pointedly at him. "You were. Oh my god, you were ," he accuses.

Summary
Objectively, he’s known for a long time that Beomgyu is a beautiful man. It’s hard not to when it’s all he seems to stumble upon when he goes online. He’s known it when they first met, too, although back then Beomgyu had yet to grow into his features. But there’s something different now. Back then, he’d thought him cute. Throughout the years, he’d found him beautiful in a way that’s been somewhat platonic. As if understanding the universe: the sun goes down every night and comes back up in the morning and Choi Beomgyu is beautiful.
Now – now that he looks at it with the newfound knowledge that settled inside the very depth of his chest – Beomgyu’s beautiful in a way that makes Yeonjun’s insides crawl with heat.
Or: during comeback season, Yeonjun discovers just how pretty Beomgyu is when wrapped in lace.
