    Luo Binghe has finally found a shizun without a rabid alternate Binghe at his side to fight him off. He finally has what he *deserves*.

    This particular shizun has an entire shrine collected and arduously maintained to worship him. This is exactly what he was looking for. Time to take care of him and take him back to where he belongs.

    After being turned away by the nice Shizun of that other world, Luo Binghe finds himself in the modern world where he can find a new nice Shizun for himself. Instead, he finds Shen Yuan, who could not possibly be who he's searching for - he's crass, and inelegant, and looks only vaguely related to Shen Qingqiu.

    Luckily for both of them, Shen Yuan mistakes Luo Binghe as a cosplayer for hire, and asks to rent him out as his very normal new boyfriend.

    7 I’ve already told you I don’t need that sort of thing to impress my real Shizun,” Luo Binghe complains, his voice just shy of a whine.
    “What, and you don’t need that sort of thing for yourself?” Shen Yuan clicks his tongue. “You only started playing video games because I thought it was a crime you hadn’t before. What about what Binghe wants to do, ah?”
    Luo Binghe regards him skeptically for a moment. Shen Yuan crosses his arms, turns his nose up, and adds:
    “Also, I read that people like Binghe need lots of activity in their lives to stay out of trouble.”
    “You -!” Luo Binghe lunges for Shen Yuan, rubbing at Shen Yuan’s head and snapping his teeth next to his cheek as if barely resisting the urge to bite him properly.
    11 After all, even if Luo Binghe is more dangerous with full access to all his demonic and cultivation abilities, he still could’ve done as he pleased to Shen Yuan with kitchen knives or whatever. 
    If Luo Binghe let Shen Yuan boss him around before, he’ll let Shen Yuan boss him around now, too! 
    Who cares if this is the real Luo Binghe! Who cares if he’s actually demonic and has magic cultivation powers and tools! He’s still Shen Yuan’s Luo Binghe, too - the Luo Binghe that Shen Yuan has been carefully training to be a good boy!!
    “Okay, I’m over it now,” Shen Yuan says, nodding to himself.

    When Luo Binghe’s volatile attitude makes him a liability in battle, the warrior mers he'd been in a pod with send him away to live a quieter life in Shen Qingqiu’s research focused pod. It’s assumed that Shen Qingqiu will be able to tame Luo Binghe, to make him something useful again, and eventually the warrior mers will be able to take him back.

    Shen Qingqiu tames Luo Binghe just as planned! He tames him a bit too well, though, and now Luo Binghe is in love with him. Whoops!

    Shen Yuan stretches up onto the tips of his toes to reach up and wrap his hand around one of Luo Binghe’s horns, watching the way the demon’s body goes stiff at the touch. Gently, he tugs Luo Binghe’s head down towards himself.

    Luo Binghe lets himself be moved without a fight.

    Shen Yuan hums. “Indeed, you’re quite dangerous,” he says. It comes out indulgent, like a parent agreeing that their child is quite smart for having figured out something simple. “I’ll have to watch you closely, if I’m to keep you forever.”

    Luo Binghe shudders, his form rippling with the force of his distress. Shen Yuan tugs on his curved horn a bit harder, curious, and Luo Binghe’s form collapses entirely, melting back into something more human looking.

    Somewhat disappointed, Shen Yuan lets his hand fall back to his side.

    “You’ll - keep me?” Luo Binghe asks haltingly. His eyes have a slight sheen to them, as if Shen Yuan had bullied him so badly that he might start crying.

    “What else would I do with you?” Shen Yuan asks, genuinely curious. Wouldn’t anyone keep something like Luo Binghe?
