Summary:
When Obi-Wan dies by Anakin's hand, he expects that to be the end.
It is not.
When he opens his eyes again, all of thirteen but with forty extra years of experience, not even the dust, dread, and death on Melidaan can stand in his way. Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi is left without backup, without guidance, and without a home to return to after the Jedi Temple falls. With a gaggle of children now relying upon him to protect their future as the Sith Empire rises, he must grapple with his complicated history and return to Mandalore. He is more than aware that as a Jedi, many Mandalorians would be happy to kill him without mercy, the only comfort is his familiarity with their culture, that even if they kill him, at least they will protect the children, and that ultimately has to be enough.
