Summary
Frank's life was changed forever when his fiancé was ripped away from him in a car accident that took his life. The grief consumed him for months until the date of what would have been his wedding. “I’m really sorry,” Ink said, breaking the silence, “we were just… a little too late.” Ghoul hummed.
“Jet ‘n Kobra weren’t even supposed to be here in the first place,” he said bitterly.
He paused for a moment and exhaled, attempting to neutralize his tone. He felt the others’ eyes on him as he bit the inside of his cheek.
“They promised ‘ey wouldn’t go lookin’ for a fight, an’ here we are. ‘Ts not ya fault. Kobra’s goddamn bullheaded.”

Fun Ghoul had gotten accustomed to the domesticity of living with the Fabulous Killjoys. The prophesized stability that Jet, Kobra, and Party brought him was welcome after his troubled past. Growing up in the Zones came with a lot of loss, that was to be expected. But Ghoul and Party weren't expecting the sudden loss of their crewmates. And Ghoul surely didn't know what to do once they were gone.

Summary
Steve's parents are home, and it's putting a huge damper on his relationship with Eddie. Like usual, he waits until his father goes to bed before calling his boyfriend, but he doesn't count on his father overhearing him. Steve has to deal with confrontation from his homophobic parents, but gets to unleash everything he's wanted to tell them for years.

Summary

Eddie's staring, and Steve sees how his hand is searching the seat behind himself for the remote, probably to kill the movie, because Steve's being so weird it's making him worried.
He sighs again, breath trembling from stress and he buries his face in his hands. Leg still bouncing in place.
The TV gets turned off and the room fills with silence, and he hears Eddie shuffling around next to him.
"Steve—"
