Jacob Stratt wasn't even born when the Hail Mary launched on its journey to Tau Ceti.

He stepped closer, going to grab her arm when something spiteful possessed her body and Stratt blew smoke directly into his face.
He clenched his jaw and snatched the wrist that was cradling her cigarette.
His grip on her wrist was nearly crushing and she had a feeling if he didn’t let go soon there’d be a bruise. It filled her with an odd thrill, the idea of his fingerprints pressed purple into her skin.
“Don’t test me,” he growled.
Or after an assassination attempt, Sierra Six is assigned to be Eva Stratt’s body guard.
