Jing Yuan has experienced many things in the hundreds of years he's been on the Luofu, managing and protecting the peace he's worked so hard to maintain.
Of course, he does wish to let loose from time to time—to leave his post for atleast one final century of adventure, but he can't. Not when so many people rely on him.
Jing Yuan doesn't want to fail anyone ever again. Not after what happened all those years ago.
And so he doesn't. He continues being the Dozing General of the Luofu everyone's coined him to be.
And just like this, it's peaceful.
Until it isn't. At least not when his greatest failure of all comes knocking on his doorstep like a vengeful ghost.

Summary
