Megumi cut him off with a sour laugh. His hands balled into fists at his sides as he moved closer to Gojo.
“Legally, you’re our guardian, but that means jack shit to me. It was a mutually beneficial deal to keep Tsumiki and I from starving before we got to middle school. Do not go around acting like you’re some kind of savor or– hell, our father.” Megumi spat, looking at the man with pure vitriol in his gaze.
“It’s dangerous!” Gojo yelled, eyes wide beneath those wretched sunglasses.
“I am not your kid.” Megumi jabbed a finger into Gojo’s chest. He expected to feel the stubbing of his fingertip against the man’s Infinity.
What Megumi hadn’t expected was to feel the plush fabric of Gojo’s shirt around his finger. His eyes widened just barely at the prospect of the man letting down his Infinity around him, but even so.
