Seivarden was a respected officer once, and now she's a respected officer again, but there was a long space in between. Inevitably, someone someday was going to see Mercy of Kalr Lieutenant Seivarden and recognize the desperate drifter who'd had a very expensive habit and very few marketable skills; she knew that. It didn't make it any easier when it happened.
