Summary
Sokka's stomach dropped. It felt… wrong for somebody else to flirt with Zuko. He felt unexplainably uneasy. He wanted to go back to camp. Now. Before he realized he was speaking, the words were already out.
"We're pretty busy."
Three heads turned toward him, including Zuko's. The stranger looked annoyed. "I was asking him."
"I know."
An awkward moment passed as the alpha looked between them. "Oh. My mistake."
Sokka frowned. "What mistake?"
"I didn't realize."
"Realize what?"
"I thought he wasn’t mated."
Oh.
Did… did he think that Sokka was Zuko’s boyfriend? Hah. It might’ve been humorous if it wasn’t so surprising.

Sokka was perfectly happy being a beta...Probably. Okay, maybe not perfectly happy, but he had come to terms with it. Being the only nonbender in Team Avatar was bad enough. Being the only beta just made him feel even more painfully average. Then an alpha asked Zuko out in the middle of the market. Sokka woke up the next morning an alpha. Apparently, the universe has a sense of humor. -

Summary
“I know what I am,” he said, as though he had rehearsed it a thousand times in private and never dared say it aloud, “I know what it means in court. I know what it means for succession. I know what it means for people like us to want things we are not supposed to want.”
Sokka’s hands clenched as Zuko smiled. “But if there is even a chance that I haven’t been alone in this. I would leave everything. I would go with you. Sokka, I- I choose you.”
The silence behind the curtain did not last. A hand grabbed the fabric from the other side and yanked it aside so hard the rods groaned. Light spilled between the two rooms.
And with it, so did the faces. Too many faces. Zuko’s breath stopped completely. For a fraction of a second, no one moved. Then Chief Arnook stepped forward. His face was red, not with embarrassment, but with fury that had nowhere to go.

Sokka and Zuko are best friends, despite political duty slowly pulling them apart. When a marriage is arranged between Prince Zuko and Princess Yue to secure an alliance, Sokka believes he has been betrayed and plans a genius plan to stop the marriage, but the plan spirals far beyond his control. -

Summary
Sokka doesn't believe in spirits. Unfortunately, a harsh winter hits his tribe and gets Gran-gran sick. The elder's prayers have gone unanswered. Desperate, he turns to an old foreign ritual hidden in the pages of a dusty book and summons an ancient sun spirit from the other side of the world.
The spirit is beautiful, annoying and apparently willing to help, for a price.
Sokka is beginning to think the harsh winter might not be his biggest problem.

Summary
“I don’t trust easily,” Sokka added after a while. “Katara’s worse than I am about it. But… you’re trying too hard to earn a place you already have.”
Zuko’s throat tightened slightly. She hated that she didn’t have a quick answer for that. Outside, the wind shifted through the camp canvas.
“I’m not like you,” the princess said finally, quieter than she intended. “I wasn’t raised for this.”
Sokka’s gaze flicked to her. “Neither was I,” she said. She stood after a moment, hesitating just long enough to make it feel intentional. “You should sleep,” she said.
Zuko, without realizing, suddenly reached out to her hand, holding it tight.
“Don’t go… not yet,” she said, voice barely above a whisper.
Sokka stepped closer, her abs flexing visibly beneath her tight shirt as she moved. Without another word, she cupped the princess’s face and pressed their lips together.

SIDE B: To save Zuko’s life Sokka makes a deal with the devil. He isn’t sure what this makes him now, besides stronger and more dangerous. He’s not sure if he gets to keep Zuko.
At some point there is a monster, but I won’t tell you who and I won’t tell you when. There is also sex and good friends and any combination of the two.
