Satoru grit his teeth as he peeled his shirt up and grabbed the candle, holding the flame near his bite to inspect it. It's deep. He's screwed. He's lowkey scared as fuck. What if he turns right now and attacks everyone? Would it be fucked up? Totally. Is he being selfish? Hell fucking yes! He's scared damn it! He doesn't want to die alone! Besides, it's not like he feels sick yet or anything. The bite just hurts because what bite this deep wouldn't? He once cried when he was six when a freaking bulldog bit him but what kid wouldn't?!
With a steady hand, Satoru reaches for a bottle of liquor he also never turned in and spills some onto the wound, hissing when it stings immediately. With quick hands, he wraps his wound and pulls his shirt back down. Because it's on his rib, the wound is easy to hide. It lets him blend in with the others still before he'll eventually turn...
“Suguru!”
Satoru's world suddenly collapsed.

Satoru had always been too much for most people.
Too loud, too fast, too smart, too strong. Born into legacy, hailed as the pride of the Gojo clan since he could walk, spoken of like a storm wrapped in silk. People either wanted something from him or wanted to be him. Both were exhausting. He was coddled, yes—pampered, praised, paraded around like a thoroughbred, and taught to believe he was untouchable.
The problem was, he was untouchable.
No one ever really saw him. Not beyond the Six Eyes, not beyond the technique, not beyond the bloodline. He could make a joke, and people would laugh before he even finished it. He could lie, and they’d believe him just because he said it with confidence. He could fail, and the world would say it was someone else’s fault.
Then came Suguru.
