Megumi's expression is unreadable, and Yuuji has a feeling he's made things even more awkward.
"Look, it doesn't matter," he says, changing the subject. "The point is, you have some secret admirers."

“Satoru, behave,” comes Suguru’s chiding voice from the kitchen.
Satoru gapes. “What?”
Suguru’s head pokes out. “Not you, I was talking to the cat.”
“The cat?”
The cat in question is staring balefully at Satoru. He doesn’t look half-bad—once dried out, his fur had fluffed up to nearly double its overall size, and with his eyes open, Satoru can see they’re an unusual shade of blue.
“Yeah,” Suguru responds, and there’s an unspoken obviously in his tone.
