    “What’s your name?”

“Satoru,” the man said, and then, “you wasted your first question on that? Seriously?”

“They’re mine to waste,” Sukuna drawled, “and so are you.”

Or: Gojo and a half-dead Megumi end up 1000 years in the past, and, well, better the devil you know, right?

Love that megumi I is there (I feel like this story wouldn’t work without him)
Love a lot of the crazy dialogue (they are so freak for freak)
The moment sukuna tied satoru to his hearts was so cool lol (I feel like satoru will port magumi back to the future and stay either forever or for a bit longer)

    Summary

“You know,” Olruggio says, roughly. He doesn’t move to take Qifrey’s hand again. “You know. You can’t not know, Qifrey.”

Qifrey just looks at him. “I do.”

    The rain continues falling.

(And so Olruggio forgets. And he inevitably figures it out again, because of course he does; and he inevitably chooses to forget again, and again, and again, because his heart is always the same. The story is always the same. Like a tale from under a silverwood tree, like a myth from the days of old, not so much tied by the constraints of the narrative so much as being narrative itself. Antigone must bury her brother. Iphigenia must be put to death. At a thousand turns, in a thousand ways, Orpheus must turn, and he must look, again, and again.

    And Olruggio forgets.)

There is an old story about a witch and a silverwood tree.

    Summary

Olruggio does not know Qifrey - beyond that head of hair, which curls around his ears like snowdrift, and that single gleaming eye, and the whispers of Beldaruit's Ward that follow the man everyhere he goes. No, Olruggio doesn't know him.

But it feels like he should.

or: AU where olruggio is agott and tetia's teacher, qifrey is coco and richeh's teacher, and the two of them never (allegedly) meet until a fateful meeting in Romonon.

    Summary

“Do you know why the rule about apprentices being able to choose their own master came about?” Master Qifrey said at last, turning to look down at her. He pulled a comb out of his pocket and gestured for her to shift closer. She turned so he could begin very very gently teasing out the knots in her hair as he spoke.

Qifrey caused a lot of trouble during his time as an apprentice in the Great Hall. Not all of it was intentional however. When Beldaruit falls ill, Qifrey is told he cannot stay alone, and a new master will have to be found for him.

    Summary

It takes everything in Easthies not to laugh, for only Qifrey could do something so ridiculous. He knows just as well as anyone that he doesn’t drink alcohol, and yet, he comes all this way to give him some regardless. None of this feels real, and if it weren’t for the fact that the bottle is currently pressed into his hand, cool against the warmth of his skin, he would have assumed it to be a dream.

“You came all this way to give me a bottle of wine?”

“Not exactly,” Qifrey continues, and it’s obvious that he finds Easthies’ unease to be extremely entertaining. “I also thought we could share it.”

qifrey ‘congratulates’ easthies on his new promotion

    Ahhhh this was so peakkkk
I was checking authors page like thrive a day for almost a week to see if they posted lol
Love love how eastfrey is written here
Also slightly possessive/controlling easthies my beloved
    -
Easthies can’t help but chuckle at that, and for a brief, fleeting moment, he can’t help but wonder why he allowed Qifrey to abandon him in the first place. It’s a dangerous line of thought, especially when Qifrey has made it perfectly clear to him that he is better-off up on the surface, but as he looks back on the events that have led them here, Easthies finds that he misses him, and whatever strange dynamic that exists between them, regardless. Demonstrating that no matter how hard he tries, Easthies is simply unable to let go of Qifrey’s presence in his life.

What this says about him is something that he is unwilling to dwell on at present, but now that the possibility of some form of reconciliation has been planted in his mind, Easthies debates on whether he could use this as an opportunity to rein Qifrey back in, to show him that there’s value in a life in which he plays by the rules.

Placing his hand on Qifrey’s cheek once more, Easthies trails a line along his jawbone—deceptively gentle. “It almost makes me wish you never left.”
