Summary
Grace and Rocky are on their way to Erid when they encounter a strange terrestrial vessel that has somehow made its way to space. Clark Kent has a pretty great thing going for him. He's the backup goalie for the Gotham Blades, the worst team in NHL history, and he's working on his journalism degree. He never has to worry about money and he's got plenty of free time to be Superman and partner with the Justice League.
It's all going really well. Until Bruce Wayne ruins everything.
“When I asked you what you wanted for your birthday, you said you wanted the Blades to,” Bruce used air quotes which shouldn't be endearing, “win an ‘effing’ game for once in your life.”
"What,” Jason barks out a laugh, “you’re gonna bribe a ref or somethin’?”
“Goodness no!” Bruce cries out dramatically clutching his hands to his chest, utterly scandalized. “What do you take me for? A criminal? Of course not, Jason. I would never! I am a good influence.”
Jason continues to glare at him, clearly waiting for something.
“I bought the team,” Bruce announces.
