After an operation that had taken the most part of – well, frankly his entire day, Dr. Zayne had finally clocked out of his night shift turned 24 hours. You’d skillfully turned his desperate need to apologize for being late – again, but you’ve known Zayne too long to pretend it wasn’t a constant possibility – into a promise of his own to relax with you. Truly relax, not ‘relax on the couch while filing the operation’s medical report’; and that’s where the bathtub had come in.
