“Will you marry me?” Izuku heard that much before Shindo continued talking.
Izuku watched Shindo and he could feel his stomach curling, twisting with questions and anxiety. He felt nauseous and hot in the middle of the crowded room. He couldn’t seem to keep his focus on the kneeling man, his eyes didn’t move but his vision seemed to cloud.
They were practically yanked into focus though at a movement across from him, and it drew his gaze up to a sharp point. Wide, red eyes.
Kacchan was there, he was there for Izuku just like he always was.

Izuku and Kacchan are hero partners, roommates, and friends. Izuku is more than happy with his life until his boyfriend gets down on one knee at a party, but all Izuku sees is Kacchan standing behind the man proposing, and he rethinks everything.
