And in that moment, everything clicked into place, piece by jagged piece. Of course. Goro wasn’t a straight path; he was a maze, with walls that twisted and turned, guarding the core of what truly mattered.
Swallowing against the tightness in his chest, Akira leaned in, his voice barely more than a whisper.
“Wait. Don’t tell me… do you really think you don’t deserve it?”
OR:
A birthday party for Akechi goes wrong. Instead of proceeding as planned, Akira takes a minor, rougher detour.

Summary
”There’s a…certain sexual act I’ve been thinking about trying with you.”
Oh my god. Who knew that the familiarly hilarious combination of “certain” and “sexual act” from Goro Akechi’s mouth could drive Akira this ballistic? He clutched the duvet as a means to prevent him from vibrating in pure delight. “O-Of course. What did you have in mind?”
“It might not even be that interesting, but it’s in regard to permission.”
“Permission?” Akira repeated, confused. “Uh. To do what, exactly?”
“Permission to make me come.”
Forget sleeping. Only two thoughts materialized in Akira’s half-cognizant brain: 1), fuck fuck fuck what the actual fuck, and 2), I’m gonna drive this man so out of his mind that the only words left in his vocabulary will be “please” and “Akira, Akira, Akira”.
Or:
Akechi has another spontaneous request. Akira is all too eager to please.
...Maybe a little too eager.

“Would you ever…oblige me when it comes to…certain sexual acts?”
Akira almost wanted to laugh at how clinical and very Goro Akechi that had sounded, but he was too shocked to even do so. “What ‘sexual acts’?”
“I have difficulty giving up control.”
Isn’t that the truth? “And?”
“I probably won’t even like it,” Goro said as he waved his hand dismissively. “But what if you…ah, restrained me?”
Restrained. Restrained. Akira couldn’t help it. His chopsticks slid from his grip as he stared at Goro, slack-jawed. There were only two things running in his mind in that moment—1), fuck fuck fuck what the actual fuck, and 2), red rope would look so good with his complexion, wouldn’t it?

Summary
Phoenix was working, to the best of his capabilities, to get his badge back after the whole mess with Apollo getting Kristoph Gavin in prison for his crimes. He was studying (albeit not that seriously at first) for the exam he would have to take, but the true luck he had at his side was the presence of a certain, serious Chief Prosecutor who knew how to act as the perfect teacher in the matter.
Thing is...
Who said that teacher doesn't do reckless things sometimes?
And who said Phoenix doesn't get to find it out by a pure (happy) accident?
