In an attempt to be close to his dead sensei’s son, Kakashi poses as a friendly stray dog and cons Naruto into more or less adopting him.
He then gets closer to him than he’d ever expected, but he’s not exactly complaining.
(Maybe Kakashi should have realized that pretending to be a dog and leaning into canine instincts while harboring some seriously questionable kinks and desires would have some consequences.)
