Maed was in a rough situation, to put it simply. With her wife Juno being six months pregnant she couldn’t help out at the farm, Her son Alfe was still too young, and well no one wanted to work at the farm, All too interested in the better-paying jobs up downtown.
The solution to this problem?
Buying a slave to help. Juno was torn to shreds about the idea of supporting something so barbaric and twisted. But to Maed it was a necessary evil. Something that had to be done if the farm was to survive.
So, for the very first time in all nearly forty years of her life, Maed walked through the parking lot and into the slave market with an intent to buy.
Maed stepped into the filthy slave market, Hybrids, Mythical creatures, All sorts of creatures, Big and small, of all different species and colors, Flashy kobolds with shining colorful scales, beaten and worn down demons that had broken horns, Hybrids that looked so far gone that they were basically husks that barely looked sentient.
Not what she needed.
