Summary

Enter the Warrior of Light, who sweeps her away to go enjoy the All Saints' Wake festivities in the Black Shroud. While they are good friends, Minfilia has never spent much time alone with him outside of work, and she slowly begins to come to terms with the fact that what she feels is not quite as platonic as she'd allowed herself to believe.

Summary
After the Endsinger, The Warrior of Light is returned to the Scions aboard the Ragnarok bruised, bloody, and barely alive. Y'shtola watches as her friends attempt to rouse him, worry gnawing at her core.
Once she realizes that he is breathing, safe, and in a state of mind rather akin to "drunk as a skunk", she decides she might as well have a little fun at his expense. After all, when else will the Scions be able to hear what he really thinks about them?

Summary
The night before they sail to the edge of the universe, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn try to spend a little down time with each other. It's the last chance for levity before the fight of their lives, after all. Y'shtola, Estinien and Krile all have their myriad worries about what's to come, many of which can be laid squarely on the shoulders of the Warrior of Light.
A bit of an enigma, the Warrior of Light fills the thoughts of his companions. What is he like, at dinner with Y'shtola and the others? How will he behave in front of the Lady Leveilleur? How does he act when he thinks he's alone? What is running through his mind, on this final of nights? Will any of them be able to pierce the veil surrounding him? How many dinners will he be made to eat in a night?
