Will is still clothed. He’s gotten undressed in front of Hannibal countless times, but he’s never paid such close attention to Hannibal’s eyes on him before. Usually it’s mutual, or functional, or he’s being kissed. This is all very new, and Will doesn’t know what to expect from it.
He knows Hannibal can smell it on him, his anxiety about the entire situation, which makes him wonder why he wanted this so badly in the first place. His one knee is bobbing nervously, unsure how something like this is supposed to start.

Summary

Summary
After Will's car breaks down in the middle of the rain while on his way to Dr. Lecter's office, he has to walk the last few miles of his trip in the cold rain to explain himself to Dr. Lecter and perhaps find a way to call a cab.
Hannibal is understanding and helpful. He saw Will in a miserable state and felt nothing but an uncommon feeling of pity. Hannibal invited Will to his home, allowed him to Bathe in bubbles, borrow his clothes, and even cooked Will dinner. Hannibal Lecter discovered the odd pleasures he gets from seeing a spoiled Will Graham.
