Hawks has a complicated relationship with everything: himself, his job, his hero, his enemy. He can't seem to catch a break or his breath. You would think that he'd try to look for some sort of upside to all of the bullshit he's dealt, but only an idiot would be where he is and dream that something good would ever come his way.
After all, he doesn't really deserve a happy ending, now does he?

Summary
Dangerous characters from Theo’s past arrive in Beacon Hills and want him dead. Liam is seriously not okay with this plan; especially since they seem hell-bent on slaughtering a group of supernaturals along with him. The beta’s in charge while Scott is gone, and no way is this going down on his watch. But if Theo and Liam want to stop the assassins and not be consumed by the passion, blood, and darkness that surrounds them, they’re going to need each other.
Set after 6x16, but the Hunter situation is ignored/on hold. Contains dual perspectives that will switch throughout chapters. Eventual E (Trust me. I’ve written the chapter. It gets there.)
