Then, out of nowhere, Minho exhaled and muttered, “I think I’m going to retire.”
Chan looked up fast. Minho stared hard at the floor, jaw tight.
“I’m twenty-nine,” he said, voice low and flat. “And I have too much money sitting in accounts I never touch. CLE never charged for housing or food. I don’t owe them anything. And I’m tired, Chan-ah. I’m so—” His voice cracked and he stopped, swallowing the rest. “I’m tired.”
Chan’s chest tightened, but he didn’t interrupt. Minho’s fingers curled against the countertop, knuckles white.
“I don’t want to watch any more kids die. I don’t want to wake up to alarms or check corridors for threats before I walk through them. I don’t want to sleep in rooms where everything echoes. I don’t…” He breathed out shakily. “I don’t want to live like I’m already half-dead.”
Chan didn’t move for a long second.
Then he smiled softly.
“Then I will too.”

Summary
Chan didn’t really know what he was getting into when he agreed tot his job. He hadn’t expected to actually find Felix’s brother. And he definitely had not expected for his wolf to insist that was their true Mate.
But here he was with a very frightened and abused Omega that was scared to even be in the same space as him.
Minho thought he’d die in that place. There was no escape for him. But his rescue came. In the form of his brother and his Pack. A Pack who was lead by the only Alpha that could make his wolf howl in need. And it scared him, it scared him to think this Alpha might not want him the same.

Summary
Unmated and with all of his alpha friends settled into relationships, Felix is an omega who spends his heats with alphas chosen on apps. If someone were to ask, though, he'd rather spend them with Lee Minho, his best friend – who has always taken care of him better than anyone, stayed close, and with whom he's always shared an intimacy that blurred every line.
