Beautiful fix-it fanfic! I love the details and I love fix-it fanfics. Good characterizations and apologies, overall pretty feel-good and with good action scenes. Enjoyable flirting dialogue with fade to blacks (nothing explicit). My first fanfic where I enjoyed the Lords being in a polycule. Also my first fankids I actually have stock in at the end, guhhh,,,
Made me cry twice.

Really well written fanfic that explores internalized (and externalized) homophobia, as well as yearning, pining, and realizing that you're not as straight as you thought you were your whole life. It also made me personally cry (good tears, I promise). I recommend it as a great Ferdibert read in a more modern setting, with great dynamics between the core 4 characters. I might reread this a few times eventually and I honestly just like having found it when I did. It's like a little fic that ends with hope in its heart, I promise, despite the tags' darker themes.

It’s how Caspar ends up hiding Linhardt, said vampire, from a sinister presence lurking in the shadows of this town.
