    Lee staggered, flopping over Gaara, who braced with his entire strength just to keep the intoxicated Leaf-nin upright. Drunk Lee had grabby hands—Gaara hoped no one noticed the one creeping towards his ass.

    “I—immm sso sick of you guys!” Lee slurred to his teammates over Gaara’s shoulder, gesticulating wildly with the hand not currently sliding down Gaara’s spine. They stared back, dumbfounded. “Alw—hic—ays just pretending youaren—ot in love with eachthr! J-just fuck already!” Having got his muddled statement out, Lee nuzzled his face into Gaara’s neck and went still, dead asleep on his shoulder.

    You could have heard a senbon drop.

    Ryo licked his lips. "Do you…?" He swallowed. He hadn't been this nervous ever since he performed in front of an audience for the first time.

    "You can just say it." Sakuya encouraged him, trying to brace himself for the blow that could maybe turn his heart into ashes.

    Ryo took a deep breath. "Do you want to be each other's first with that, too?"

    It was such a quiet and frail string of voice that Sakuya thought he had misheard it.
