“Have you not anything to say for yourself?” It looks like he is one second from spitting on Viktor.
“I’m working on an order for Miss Alicja,” Viktor waves the toy in the air. “Go to the end of the line and wait for your turn or get out.” He gestures with the mechanical frog at the people sitting on various chairs near the wall opposite to him.
“Don’t think you can play with me,” the very-not-subtle lackey snarls at him, leaning over the counter and pointing a blade right at Viktor’s neck in a pitiful attempt at a display of power.
Ridiculous.
Viktor almost snorts. Instead, he gently places the frog next to the girl.
“Is there an issue?” A voice rings behind Viktor just as he is about to open his mouth to make a scathing remark. Jayce steps right to Viktor’s side and drops his comically giant hammer to the ground, in a slightly more successful attempt at a display of power.
Viktor clicks his tongue and pushes the blade away from his neck. The guy seems to be caught off guard, both by Jayce’s thinly veiled threat and Viktor’s clear disregard.
or; Jayce grows up in Zaun alongside Viktor. A struggle through feelings, never enough time, and a sharp decline of Viktor's health.

Viktor lets out a tired laugh. “Good luck with that.”
“That’s why I want you to meet Talis.”
Or, as Silco's most trusted advisor, Viktor is asked to meet with Councilor Talis to discuss cooperation between the cities.
