By sheer miraculous coincidence, Ace comes across a wanted poster featuring someone very familiar before his destiny at Marineford, before Blackbeard paved out fate's crossroads. He does as he always does and leaps right into dragging his missing brother of nine years back kicking and screaming.
Sabo does indeed kick and scream a little at first, but after he got over himself, he's set on never leaving or to be left behind ever again, and the two of them reconnect and change the course of those stars.

To go back to running for his brother, running for that damned scaffold protected by three admirals and people much stronger than him.
