Summary
Harry insists on singing his heart out on the Whirling-in-Rags' makeshift stage. He thinks he's a good singer (he actually isn't).
------
“What’d you think of my performance?” Harry asks, pushing as much bravado into his tone as possible. People can’t hurt you if you act like it doesn’t affect you.
“These people wouldn’t know a good performance if it beat them in the ass.” Kim mutters while scanning the crowd, hands on his hips.

Summary
As Varric draws closer to the elf, he notices the order in which the books were sorted on the shelves.
Q...R...S...T.
And Varric stops, close enough to spy on the book the elf was reading. It is his Swords and Shields. By then, the elf had noticed the dwarf man standing two feet away from her, staring at, not her, but the book she is holding.
"Can I...help you?" said the rather tall elf.
The question pulls Varric out of his head.
(Basically, how Varric meets Lavellan in a bookstore!)

Summary
"Where did you come from?"
Keith huffs a laugh. "A long, long way from here," he says, plucking the cherry from his glass. Shiro's eyes follow it all the way to his lips, and Keith watches his throat bob when he bites down and plucks the stem. It's an evasive answer, but if Shiro had any follow-up questions, Keith thinks they're long gone.
"Do you want that?" he asks when the silence drags, gesturing at Shiro's cherry. It seems to snap him out of his trance.
"N-no! You can take it," Shiro stammers, pushing the glass toward him. "Please."
A mission takes Keith back in time, and leads him straight to Shiro.
A story of the very beginning, based on Andy's time travel AU.

Summary
Keith huffs out a breath, shoving his hands into the pockets of his ripped light wash jeans and kicking at an empty can of coke next to his feet. He’s just about to turn around and leave, give up on this stupid thing he’s managed to finally talk himself into doing, when there’s the shifting of movement behind him, followed by a loud thud, like the soles of boots hitting the ground.
Boots worn by someone tall and broad and heavy; as if someone with a body packed with muscles just hopped down from the bleachers to join Keith back here.

Summary
Shiro and Keith end up on a mission to attend an annual celebration on an alien planet in order to build cultural ties.
The only problem is, no one mentioned that they’re not meant to just be attending—they’re meant to be participating.
And the celebration? Is a giant wedding.

Summary
So Keith is good at that, at waiting, at longing. No one would think that patience is a strength of his but perhaps that is because, more aptly put, it is actually his weakness. For when Keith waits, it seems, he always waits a little too long. He always misses the right moment.
Maybe, he muses in retrospect, that is because the right moment never existed in the first place.

Summary
When the man called Taxian-Jun arrives, years later, it’s the coming of a storm.
He sweeps into a dinner appointment between Chu Wanning and a client, clad in black, a smirk tugging at his mouth. Over the spark of irritation, Chu Wanning can’t help but admire his lean frame, the way his hair, cut rebelliously short, falls over smoldering, dark eyes. The way he towers over him, even when Chu Wanning rises to full height.
Chu Wanning’s heart races as Taxian-Jun leans in close, ignoring the shouts and gasps around them.
“Sakaki of Ran,” he purrs in their native tongue. “You’re mine.”
Chu Wanning lifts his chin. “I don’t know you.”
“You will,” Taxian-Jun says, and leaves.
In which Chu Wanning is a courtesan serving Chinese merchants in Nagasaki, Japan, and Taxian-Jun decides to make him his.
