Summary
Scorpius looked up at her curiously, eyeing her face. Really inspecting her for a moment.
“I think I know your face, do you know my dad?” He tilted his head in question.
Hermione hesitated for a moment. Memories flickered briefly through her mind.
A cute blonde boy she had met on the Hogwarts Express.
A sneering boy in Hogwarts corridors.
A studious teen hanging about in the library, reading.
A frightened young man lowering his wand during the war.
And then—years of complicated interactions and solemn silence afterward.

Summary
“Things happen for a reason”, Igneel would often say, a phrase that had become something of a mantra in their house.
Natsu didn’t always understand it, but he believed it wholeheartedly. If his dad said it, then it had to be true. And so, when Natsu's powers first emerged, the fear he had of fire slowly began to evolve into something else, an understanding that maybe, just maybe, these flames that now burned within him had a purpose, a reason.
Even though he didn’t know why he got these abilities as if he was chosen, Natsu couldn’t shake the feeling that, in his father’s words, “things happen for a reason.”

Summary
"Hey, Happy?" Natsu’s voice was quieter than usual, a hint of hesitation creeping into his tone.
“Aye?” Happy looked up from his fish, eyes wide with curiosity, his tail twitching in the soft grass. He didn’t notice the tension that hung in Natsu's words yet, just happy to be with his best friend.
Natsu sighed, the weight of unspoken thoughts pressing against his chest. His eyes shifted back to the sky, lost in the endless blue, unsure of where to begin. He’d carried this inside him for so long, buried beneath layers of reckless smiles and fiery fights.
“I never told you what happened… before I went toe to toe with Gray,” he began, his voice low and almost hesitant. He could feel the old wounds stirring again. "I didn’t remember much at first, but…"
Happy’s usual playful demeanor faded as he noticed the change in Natsu’s tone. His ears perked up, and this time, he didn’t crack a joke or tease. He simply waited, his big eyes fixed on Natsu with uncharacteristic seriousness.
"But… every time I look at Lucy," Natsu continued, his voice thick with something that felt like sorrow, "Everything slowly comes back."

Summary
"The great and worst thing about embodying a host is that you remember key moments to even every moment of their life and by far, Clarke has been the most interesting yet horrifying manifestation" Josephine continues with a glint in her eye and an unsettling smile plastered on her face.
