Summary
“Just leave me,” Cole says quietly.
“I will do no such thing.” Hanzo lifts Cole’s arm, and Cole pulls back. He tries to, at least, but Hanzo holds him tighter.
“Go! We can’t both go through and I’m a dead man already.”
“Far from it,” Hanzo growls, draping Cole's arm over his shoulders. Cole doesn't resist this time. “We will go through together, consequences be damned.”
“When we end up as one freakish person with two heads, I’m sure you’ll change your tune,” Cole mutters. He coughs, and for a moment looks like he is about to pass out.
Hanzo looks at the teleporter, and the edges are starting to fade away. He wraps his hand around Cole's wrist tightly, holding his breath as they step through.
Then, everything goes black.

As usual, the crisis comes much sooner than expected - and the first practical test does not go as planned. Who is even surprised at this point? Now the team in question has to deal with the fallout and some uncomfortable revelations.

Summary
Written for Reaper76 Week Day 2 - “In His Shoes” - Role/Body Swapping, in which a bodyswap opens the door of a nefarious opportunity, Gabriel has to make a choice between living with his past and torching his future in the name of it, and Jack doesn’t have a good time at all.
Gabriel’s had years to master his new powers. He’s had time to learn how to stay solid and only wraith when he wants to, how to not accidentally devour anyone he comes into contact with.
Jack hasn’t.
“Reaper looks over to see –
Himself.
Himself in a state he hasn’t been reduced to since he got a handle on his new state of existence. A thick column of black smoke writhing and twisting in on itself, the vague suggestions of solid shapes at the dark heart of it ripping apart within seconds of coming together. It looks like it should be as loud as it is violent; accompanied by metallic shrieks like rending sheet metal, or the wet screams of a prey animal set upon by wolves. But it doesn’t make any sound at all. It’s shrouded in the kind of silence found in dead, empty spaces.
Reaper’s seen this before – lived it – but never from the outside.”

If looks could kill, Gabriel considered, the young doctor would have perished about twenty minutes earlier, especially considering Jack’s murderous stare was actually coming from Gabriel’s own eyes. Perhaps Jack didn’t even know how intense his gaze was at the moment. This was certainly the first time Gabriel had ever been subjected to his own glare, and it wasn’t very fun. He wasn’t even the primary target.
But Angela wasn’t backing down. “You heard me,” she said, scowling back up at Jack. “You need to have sex."
