Summary
Each merc had an automatic low-health alarm installed into their bodies, though this one wasn’t his idea, and he rather detested it; the Administrator wanted him to somehow locate, and keep alive, the smallest and most hyperactive member of their team, one who loved to run off into the fray and be immediately torn apart by a thousand pieces of lead. Medic had turned its threshold as far down as possible, to the point that if the boy was so damaged, he would surely be dead within seconds anyways.
It wouldn’t stop dinging into his comm.
For /fifteen minutes/.Or: Medic has really bad attachment issues, unwittingly becomes a dad in spite of it.
