It had been over a year since Viltrumites came to Earth, and the takeover was almost pacific, if one could ignore how they had killed what were Earth’s strongest heroes. The peace obtained was not in small part thanks to the GDA, who managed to negotiate a deal with them that did not suck too terribly.
Viltrumites would share their knowledge and science while leaving sovereignty of the planet to humans. As long as the people of Earth cooperated, that is.
