The posistion of Living Guildpact doesn't exactly come with a manual. Jace Beleren is meant to be dealing with Guilds; but Guilds are made up of people, and people? Are messy.
Jace Beleren is also a person. And messy. And unless he gets his head in the game, he's going to find that being the Living Guildpact is a job he may not get out of alive.
Update: Lavinia misses the rendezvous and meets with some unlikely allies, Jace is not picking up his summons, and Baltrice decides to see if luck is with her (and not with Jace).
