The child spoke of many promises to train him, to become his mentor, and to make him invincible. Stronger he will be, and he will find all of those who had dared take away everything he had ever known. Anger was an emotion that used to be foreign in his heart, but now it wraps around him like chains, digging into his skin and branding him so he may never forget his reason for existence.

Phainon deadpans.
“We’re married.”
