Summary

The story follows Cassandra, the local repressed student-athlete who secretly wants to be a musician, and Rapunzel, who feels like she left one prison only to find another one in the arms of destiny. Lots of yearning, some comic relief through Eugene and Lance, some more yearning, a little drama, some goddamn therapy and hopefully a happy ending somewhere along the way.

The story follows star quarterback Emily, headed into her last year of high school, as she deals with loss and the pressure that comes with her status and her dreams of playing for the NFL.
Beca just moved in with her step family, and if changing high school for her senior year was not in her plans, ending up tutoring the school quarterback was definitely not what she wants. But as the girls are pushed together by destiny (and meddling friends), could the brooding brunette warm up to the charm of America's favorite jock?

"Beca’s eyes shoot wide open. She knows this song. She knows it all too well, too, because this is her song. Steadying herself, she removes one earbud and listens on to confirm her suspicions. Yep. This was her song. Beca eyes the brunette from the corner of her eyes. Was this on purpose? A discreet way of letting Beca know that she knew she was seated next to the singer? Beca keeps on listening, quickly realizing what is happening.

Summary
Triple A girl's hockey in the Chicago area isn't a very big community. Despite being three years apart, Janis 'Imi'ike simply couldn't escape Regina George. Regina George's reputation precedes her. Janis knows better than to believe the rumors, but it's hard to go into an introduction in good faith when every interaction with Regina George was on the ice, trying to murder each other for the sake of their youth teams.
In the 2024 PWHL Draft, University of Minnesota forward Regina George is drafted in the fourth round by the Minnesota Frost.
In the 2026 PWHL Draft, University of Wisconsin defender Janis 'Imi'ike is drafted in the fourth round by the Toronto Sceptres.
Looks like it'll be Janis v. Regina for the rest of time.

Regina stepped closer, “No, really, you clean up nice.” Her hands reached out to adjust the piece of the plastic crown Janis had tucked into her breast pocket. Janis must have been a bit wide-eyed because then Regina was smiling more. “Don’t look so concerned, these meds are like a truth serum for me. And it makes me weirdly nice to everyone.” Regina’s hands smoothed down the lapel of her blazer before pulling back.
“Regina George being nice. The world must be ending.”
Or...
Regina's trying and Janis finds out she's not so immune to that.
