listen. i am extremely biased but with REASON. this fic, as with all of belatedbday69's fics, is so fucking good.
everyone, particularly bkdk, is so well written here. they properly feel like themselves, but as adults, and considering murphy stepped out of their comfort zone a bit with this one, that is AMAZING. and the OCs feel so alive as well; they each had their own defining characteristics and personality traits that really shone through despite the fact that they were given minimal screen time.
so much thought and care was put into the writing. i always say this to murphy themselves, but it feels like i've read a novel. alternatively, this fic gives off the vibe of a movie or television series based off a novel. like the whole vibe of this fic was set up so well, it almost makes me forget it's a bnha fic, you know?
it was genuinely so painful that bkdk were on complicated, nearly severed terms throughout the whole thing, but that's precisely what made the ending so damn satisfying to the point where i legitimately teared up when the two of them started bantering again.
anyways, this fic is great and murphy has truly done it again! <3

i dont usually like hanahaki aus, but this one!!!! it's everything. i loved the angst, it hurt so good.
the fact that katsuki was always so subtly possessive by saying like "his deku". plus him being asserting himself as "izuku's kacchan". made me feral, and even sadder bc i knew this wasn't going to have a happy ending and YET.
AND GOD, THE LINE WITH IZUKU SAYING HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN BORN AND THE UNIVERSE FIXING HIS MISTAKE???? GONNA JUMP OFF THE CURB FORREAL LIKE DKSNDND
