    As much as he hated to admit it, this entire thing really was his fault, as were all the other times Jongseong had drunkenly called him up out of nowhere. He should’ve blocked every unknown number that came his way after the first time. He hadn’t forgotten to block Jongseong’s number, he just couldn’t do it–couldn’t bring himself to do it. He didn’t want to throw away the one remaining thing he had left of Jongseong, which was the phone calls. They were no longer friends, they were no longer anything, yet Jungwon continued to hold on.

    The words hang in the air for a moment before Taehyung’s brows scrunch and his pout appears. His fingers tighten in Jungkook’s shirt and Jungkook is moving closer even though Taehyung didn’t tug on him.

    “You love everything loudly. You deserve to be loved that same way.”

    Another laugh. Jungkook wonders if it’s a distraction from the way Taehyung lets go of his shirt to fit his hand under the material instead. Fireworks could go off and Jungkook wouldn’t notice, wouldn’t be able to take his attention away from Taehyung’s hands on his bare skin.

    “I do,” Taehyung whispers, “which is why I don’t understand how you haven’t noticed.”
