Omega didn’t say anything for a while. When she did speak, her voice was strained in a way Hunter had never heard before, chilling him more than the sudden frigidity of the waters swirling them. “You died.”
Hunter’s stare snapped back up to her. The urge to reassure her was quick and instinctual. “I survived.”
