Because when he really thinks about it, he noticed how Hoseok has been distancing himself more and more from Yoongi lately. He’s starting to get anxious. Maybe it really is just all in his head. Yeah, that must be it, he thinks, but then there's this little voice telling him it's not just only in his head.
And when he sees Hoseok and Taehyung like that, discussing their unit name - and picking vope for fuck’s sake, which sounds awfully a lot like sope - it hurts. It feels like a hundred daggers are piercing through his heart. It hurts him so much that he finally breaks down, tears that he had hold on too long. Tears of happiness, tears of joy, but this time only tears of heartbreak.
