And after his latest disastrous date, while a little bit tipsy, he ends up professing his love to the snowman that the neighborhood children built by his mailbox. Feeling sorry for the snowman, Jensen wraps the ridiculously long scarf his Nana Emily had made him around the snowman's neck and kisses him goodnight. A couple hours later, there is a knock upon the door, and Jensen discovers Jared, wearing little more than his scarf, and seeking shelter from the bitter cold.

“Don’t wanna drive anymore,” Sam whined, tilting his head back enough to squint up at Dean. Dean’s heart clenched at the glassy, upset look in his eyes.
“I know,” Dean murmured, reaching up and running a gentle hand through Sam’s shaggy hair. “Try and sleep.”

Summary
