Summary
“How’s the hangover treating you?”
“Oh, you know. Only feel like death warmed over."
Eddie wondered what Steve taking care of his hangovers looked like.
Did he lay on the couch watching Hitchcock movies as he faded in and out of sleep like Eddie did?
Eat a greasy burger and then curl up in bed with all the curtains drawn?
Could totally see Steve being one of those insane people who insisted on exercise to sweat through their hangover.
“But I had a little hair of the dog in the bath, so I’m feeling mostly human again,” Steve murmured.
And, oh god, Eddie could imagine that a little too well.
Steve. In a bathtub.
Or - 1986 was always meant to be Eddie's year.
He had survived Vecna, graduated high school, and got the hell out of Hawkins. Just never thought it'd be the year he'd fall in love with Steve Harrington.09/17/2023 Update: On temporary hiatus while working on another project. Sorry for the delay, am alive <3

Summary
It’s April of 1986, and the Party is slowly resuming their lives in the wake of Vecna’s destruction.
Everyone is frantically trying to wrap up the school year successfully, leaving Steve feeling listless, lonely, and only a little bit desperate to befriend Eddie Munson.
Which Steve immediately fucks up. Like, royally fucks up.
Now, Eddie and Steve are meeting up in an abandoned shed outside the Hideout once a week to scream at one another until they can be civil in front of the kids.
It’s not going well.
(Or, Steve and Eddie keep getting into fights, and Steve slowly begins to realize maybe he likes tusslin’ with Eddie a little too much.)

Summary
But what was Eddie supposed to do? Show up at Steve’s house, apropos of nothing, and say:
Hi, Harrington. Remember that mind-blowing night we had in the storage closet of a metal bar together? Yeah, me too. Definitely not in my top ten nights of my entire life or anything.
Haven’t been able to look at fishnets without getting a raging hard-on since. No big deal.
Just wanted to stop by and see if you wanted to go at it again?
You know, if the offer still stands.
Yeah, unlikely to work out in Eddie’s favor.

Summary
Eddie hadn’t meant for things to end up this way – had just wanted to flirt a little and fuck with the guy.
But seeing Steve blush like that; the way he’d responded to Eddie? He just had to know.
Wanted to taste him, to feel him. Wanted to know what he sounds he could pluck from him, self-assured promises of no more straight guys be damned.
Eddie felt sure, deep in his bones (in his balls), that if he signaled to Steve after the show, Steve would follow.
And Eddie would signal.
Or, Eddie moved to Indianapolis after graduation, ready to leave his memories of Hawkins in the past (where they belong).
But when he gets the call to perform a Halloween show at the Hideout, he knows it’s too good of an opportunity to turn down.
He’d been expecting a decent enough turnout – it was Halloween, and what else was there to do in a place like Hawkins?
Definitely hadn’t been expecting Steve to look so goddamn appealing in that stupid Top Gun costume.

Summary
The skies open about five minutes after Jason leaves her by the side of the road. Chrissy hadn’t thought to bring a raincoat to school this morning, trusting Jason and his Jeep to keep her dry. She’s regretting it now. She pulls her backpack off and clutches it to her chest, tucking the edges of her sweater over it in hopes of keeping her homework from disintegrating.
The rest of her is a lost cause, she can already tell. The sleeves of her uniform sweater are soaked through, shoes squelching with each step. Her hair is plastered to her head, rivulets of water running down her cheeks, ruining her makeup and mixing with the tears she can’t seem to curb.
Chrissy makes a choice. Eddie won’t know what hit him.

Summary
“Oookay," The woman drew out, one ringed hand sweeping at Stevie's hair. "Hey there, Uhh. You're kind of in my lap. Can you get up?"
Rude.
Couldn't she see Stevie was trying her best?

Summary
It’s never been lost on Robin that Carol Perkins is a bad person. She’s mean. Cunning. She uses people, plays them like a game. Steve, for status. Tommy, for sex, for security. Robin, for… something. The thrill of doing something wrong, maybe.
The thing is, Robin doesn’t think she’s a good person either. She’s never done things out of love, only for it.
Carol Perkins is proof of that.
(It's the summer of '85. Carol teaches Robin how to be mean, and Robin teaches Carol how to yearn.)

Summary
“You thought I was blowing him for free? You thought I liked him?”
“I don’t know! I guess…?”
Eddie scoffs. “Jesus. You watched me wipe his spunk off my face then stuck around like-like you care. What, are you a closet fag?”
Steve’s eyes widen and sink to the floor as he scoots back to his end of the couch. Are his ears red?
“Ho-ly shit,” Eddie breathes. “Little Stevie Harrington isn’t as straightlaced as I thought.”
Eddie just wants to make some extra cash, but he never expected Steve Harrington to find out how he makes it...
