“I want to kiss you, Jihoon-ah.”
As soon as those words parted from his lips, Dohoon knew things were bound to change. He couldn’t look up. He couldn’t even look at the lips that allured him into breaking all bounds in the first place. He just stood there, eyes wide, his attention everywhere else but him.
“What?” What broke his heart even more was how he felt Jihoon pull back. The way the weight of his hand on his hips felt to the side of the sink. He could feel the whimper threatening to escape his mouth at the lack of contact. The way he stepped back, not far, but enough to not feel him anymore.
“Ignore that.” Dohoon whispered, arms dropping from his neck to his side until he was just standing there between his arms, shoulders quivering in dread. “It was nothing, just…. Whatever.”
“I–” Jihoon was about to say something, to move, to ask him questions, but before he could even dare, Dohoon has already managed to escape his space.
“Forget it, Jihoon-ah,” Dohoon says again. His voice more firm. “Please just…” A heavy breath passing through his lips. “Just forget about it.”
