"Today was the day Will was finally going to see his best friend after a year of separation. He wouldn’t lie and say that there wasn’t any anger towards Mike for his behavior this past year, but Will had a terrible habit of being an absolute sucker when it came to Mike Wheeler. Yes, the two had fought quite a few times before, but Will could never actually be angry at Mike for long. Some part of him always found a reason to come back to Mike. His dark hair and eyes, and his kind smile when he genuinely apologizes after an argument. Mike Wheeler was intoxicating to Will, and that was dangerous. It was dangerous because Mike could literally lead Will into a burning house and Will would take his hand and follow inside. It was dangerous because it created an ache in his heart, and a sense of fragility he had never felt before. Mike Wheeler could, at the snap of his fingers, completely shatter Will Byers."

Summary
Some friendships die under the pressure of one person moving away. Others can apparently survive being caught between two realms.
The rest of the Casper Crew have crossed over, but Robin Arellano isn't so ready to follow them into that pesky light. Not if that also means leaving Finney Blake behind. His friend still needs him and yeah, he needs Finney just as much. Will these two boys ever find their way back to the way things were? Or will they forever be stuck in limbo, unable to move on from the shared trauma of their past? Is it even possible to stick together when the universe is so against you?
Robin thinks Finney is worth hanging around for, so he guesses it's worth putting to the test also.
