“Hey, doc…”
Luffy’s voice slices through the quiet like a pebble tossed into still water. Law doesn’t look at him right away; the boy is staring up at the ceiling, his expression unreadable.
“Do you believe in weird dreams?”
Law’s shoulders stiffen.
“What do you mean?”
“Like…” Luffy turns his head slowly, his dark eyes landing on Law with unsettling clarity. “Dreams that don’t really feel like dreams. More like… blurry memories. Of something that never actually happened.”
Or;
For as long as he can remember, Law has been trapped in the same recurring dream, a world of endless seas, pirate ships, and battles beneath blood-red skies. Among the scattered fragments of that dreamscape, there is one constant. Or rather, one person. A flash of light in the shape of a ring. A name that echoes in his mind. A presence that moves through each dream as if etched into his very soul.
Monkey D. Luffy.
He never believed that name belonged to a real person, let alone that he would find him like this: collapsed in the emergency room, unconscious, on the brink of death, and covered in wounds that seem torn straight from Law’s own nightmares.

Albert leaned into the touch, his emerald eyes searching Mycroft’s face as if committing it to memory. “Hold me,” he whispered, echoing the unspoken longing in the room. “Like I’m more than just a friend.”
Mycroft’s hands framed Albert’s face, his thumb brushing away a stray tear threatening to fall as his breath got caught. "Albert...You know what you're asking of me?" He nods quickly "One night," he whispered, his voice rough, breaking through the heavy air of the office. "That’s all I’m asking...just for tonight."
