Summary
This story begins with a threat that Peter Parker cannot ignore, despite his attempts to do so. Words on a screen turn into blood in the hallways of his school, and suddenly the life he’s built inside the Stark Tower feels like a target painted on everyone he loves. At the ripe age of fifteen, he has to make a choice no kid should ever have to make; burn the bridges behind him so his family stays safe. Anger becomes his shield, lies become his language, and when Tony tries to reach for him, Peter snaps the bond before it can hold him back.
But running doesn’t mean freedom. It means a cold apartment with leaking pipes, meals that barely fill, and nights patrolling a city that doesn’t, and never will know his real name. It means watching Christmas lights flicker in windows that aren’t his, and seeing his father’s face only through news reports and memories. And as Tony and Pepper grieve a son they believe is gone, Peter convinces himself this distance is love, sacrifice, and responsibility.
Only, sacrifice cuts both ways, and lies never stay buried forever.

Summary
Factually speaking, an average size piece of standard printer paper should weigh around 4.5 grams.
Peter cannot understand how the yellow sheet tucked between the notebooks has made his backpack grow 20 pounds heavier.
Eight and a half inches by eleven, composed of wood, fiber, glue, and a million other things is shifting against the spirals of Peter’s books, corners folding against the suit shoved in the bottom of the bag.
The suit. It’s only fitting the suit would rumple the fluorescent flyer, advertising a trip to the leading business in science and technology, in green energy, in life-changing robotics, in the home to the suit.
Peter wonders how heavy the sheet will feel after ink is added for the guardian signature.
OR another canon-friendly field trip trope fic because we all love these

Summary
"Ryland Grace was not a brave man.
Curious? Yes.
Cocky? Definitely.
Kind? Sure.
But he was not brave.
Yet when Mary hailed a message to him and Rocky whilst they were in the “Don’t go crazy” VR room; “Blip E on radar, Dr. Grace.” Of course he had to be brave and check it out. As he and Rocky raced towards the cockpit, they looked towards the camera, and the sight caught all the words Grace wanted to say in his throat.
A submarine. A human-looking submarine."
