His father Midoriya Hisashi left when Izuku got his quirk outing that Inko had been attacked. Izuku being the bastard son of some unknown man has caused him all sorts of problems, however he’s determined to make his life and many other’s better. However, being wheelchair-bound since middle school and quirkless since forever, that potential is realized far too late; at least, that's what Izuku thinks, many others are not so convinced.

Summary
After All Might tells Izuku that he cannot, in fact, be a hero, he tries to follow Kacchan, no, Katsuki’s advice and take a swan dive off the roof of the building. He survives, but everyone thinks he’s dead. The LOV, or more accurately just AFO, Shigaraki, and Kurogiri, take Izuku in and train him to hate the world and become a symbol of fear, and being one of the UA traitors, of course.
I originally wrote this under a different name a while ago, but I’ve changed so much of the order of things and edited stuff out that i just decided to create a new fic.

At one point in his life, Izuku would have said he'd grown up spoiled. When Izuku wanted a Quirk, his body adapted to handle six. Never cold, never hungry, and never happy. Overindulged, cosseted, pampered, spoiled. But those days were over, and Izuku was desperate to find his way back to his Father. His Father that would fix everything, give him back what the Government had clipped away.
If only it had been that easy.
OR: Hizashi Yamada is worried about his little neighbour, and that worry would only blossom when the case file is placed in his hands - how does one care for the son of the biggest Villain and a failed Commission experiment?
