They have that covered, with or without some contest. That’s what she told them all, right? Something so implicit that it doesn’t need to be said, least of all to each other.
To let insecurity creep in now, to yearn for confessions from Michiru’s soft lips—that would just make Haruka a hypocrite. No, she’s content to swallow her words, to trap stray feelings behind her teeth.
