“Galinda!”, Elphaba interrupted her tumbling thoughts, stopping her pacing by grabbing hold of her hands again. “Why is your sexual history suddenly so important?”
Galinda huffed. “Well, alright”, she relented. “I will say it, just…” She hesitated, nervous. Terribly nervous because– “I needed to be sure you knew. And that you were ready.”
“I’m ready, sweetheart”, Elphaba promised, just the slightest bit exasperated but staying ever gentle. “Whatever it is, you can tell me.”
Galinda looked away from her wonderful face, bracing herself, her conflicting emotions of joy and anxiety making her eyes water as she hoped ever so dearly for the best. She squeezed her beloved’s hands, met her eyes once more and finally confessed:“I’m pregnant.”

Summary

It’s a lonely life, but it’s all she’s known ever since a vengeful sorceress gave her her tail.
