Summary
The work kept him sort of fed, clothed, and able to buy some first-aid supplies. Rent was out of the question (not that he could sign a lease, being underage and without ID), so he’d found a condemned abandoned building to squat in. No power, no hot water and structurally unsound, but it was out of the rain and he had a stray cat as a roommate, so it was fine.
Peter was fine. Hungry, cold, and alone, but fine. The fact that his new home was not in Queens but instead was ever-so-slightly over the border in Hell’s Kitchen was a tad bit concerning, but that was fine, too. He just made sure not to do any Spider-Manning near Daredevil’s territory to avoid drawing the Devil’s attention.
Everything was fine. Totally.

Albus knew the feeling very well. He held his adoration for his best friend - Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy - in his hand like a small, glass structure. If he were to slip or fall, it would shatter like a firework. He held on carefully; protecting it like it were a small, injured bird. Albus' heart often felt like that - a small, unprotected entity.
He'd been foolish to believe that love was safe. It bloomed in his chest; a stupid, frilly flower that hardly hesitated to kill him from the inside out.One single action could fix his issue - he needed to tell Scorpius how he felt. Honestly, when paralleled with those two haunting decisions, he preferred to let the flowers bloom.

They decide to try and save as many people as possible while researching the ritual that sent them back in time and they change things up along the way; starting with Harry being Sorted in Slytherin.
