Als die Dinge Fahrt aufnehmen und Toman den ersten großen Kampf nach der Gründung siegreich hinter sich lässt, lassen sich die Gangmitglieder zu etwas gepflegter Abendunterhaltung hinreißen - mit Folgen. Denn wo zwei Menschen in ihrer Mitte scheinbar endlich einen tollpatschigen Schritt aufeinander zu gehen, scheinen anderswo am selben Tisch unerwiderte Gefühle in Scherben zu liegen. Baji beobachtet und zieht seine Schlüsse ... und wundert sich währenddessen, wieso sein eigener Puls zwischendurch wirklich komische Dinge zu tun scheint.
Dies ist eine (großteils) an Canon-Events orientierte FF, ganz im Sinne von "Filling in the Gaps". Am Ende sind unsere Protas eben auch nur Teenager - und Teenager-Dinge lassen viel Raum für emotionales Drama und Gefühlschaos, das nicht nur mit Mord und Todschlag zu tun hat.

Summary
The TR-band-AU nobody asked for.
On a trip back to Tokyo ten years after the junkyard Mikey and Baji decide for a try at reconciliation with the two once closest to them. Baji has some confessions to make (how is he not dead?) while Mikey tries to apologize for not letting Ken in on his biggest secret (how Baji is not dead).
Ten years are a long time for more things to change, though, than just complex enstrangement.

Chifuyu couldn’t deny that he hated receiving those and that he wouldn’t understand it either. Why ask him to do such a thing? If they are too scared of giving him the letters themself, why would they want to date Baji?
Chifuyu just said, bluntly, “Sumire, class A. He asked me to give it to you.”
“Not interested,” Baji answered him, looking away like this matter wasn’t important for him at all.
“And what am I supposed to do with this, then?”
“You can throw it away for all I care,” Keisuke told him in his normal tone.
“What am I supposed to do with this then, Baji-san?” Chifuyu signed.
“Throw away or whatever,” Keisuke said and just by his tone, Chifuyu knew he was putting an end to that conversation, “Next time, don't let them use you as a homing pigeon. You should follow my orders only and not anyone else.”or, where baji and chifuyu fall in love, but dance around each other for years on end, (also there are some letters, things are burned and eventually more than one confession is made).
